A unique blend of organically grown estate Syrah (90%) from a single vineyard and the local variety Mavrodaphne (10%). The wine is matured in new French oak barrels for 12 months before further aging in the bottle. Strictly limited production of 3,500 bottles annually. A massive, complex wine with an almost black colour and good tannins. The peppery, ripe Syrah fruit is gently offset by the sour cherry and wild mint of the Mavrodaphne. Excellent with rich meat dishes, game, and aged cheeses. Great cellaring potential.
