Tasting Notes
Dense, deep red with a few violet hues.
An aromatic bouquet balancing between freshness and maturity. Wild strawberries, cassis, sour cherry preserve, prunes, spices, chocolate and toasted bread call for a challenge for discovery.
The fruit and volume of the Agiorgitiko balance the nerve of the Refosco offering harmony to the blend. Generous, rich and warm, with firm but elegant tannins, intensity and depth. Nice, long finish with hints of oak.
Food Pairing
Red meats, grilled or cooked with red sauce, game in wine sauce or ragout, and mature hard cheeses are flattered by its strong personality.
