GENTILINI ECLIPSE
Description
The Eclipse is made from the unique Mavrodaphne of Kefalonia grape bought in from the appellation zone. The winemundergoes malolactic fermentation
before being carefully matured for at least 12 months in top quality French and American barriques. The wine is matured for a further 12 months in bottle before release. Only 2,500 bottles are produced annually. This is a dark, almost inky wine, with generous, layered aromas of red fruit, spiced with hints of licorice and wild mint. In the mouth it is rich, complex and impressive, with soft, round tannins and an endless aftertaste. A true taste of Kefalonia in a glass! Excellent with rich meat dishes, game, and aged cheeses
