Red, P.G.I. Drama

This select varietal wine is made exclusively from Merlot grapes, cultivated in low yield vineyardsand thus maximum phenolic ripeness. After the maceration and the alcoholic and malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.

Deep purple colour.
Complex bouquet of spices and ripe black fruits (wild strawberries, blackberries).
With the high alcohol content nicely balanced by its crispness and noble tannins, the wine is mature, full-bodied, with a long aftertaste.

Serve at 16-18°C.
Enjoy with game, highly seasoned red meat, ripe cheeses.
Responds well to further ageing.
