Drama<br \/>\nAssyrtiko and oak seem made for one another, and here we have a superb example of that relationship. The name Idisma Drios reflects the rich sweetness imparted to the wine by its sojourn in the oak barrels. <\/p>\n<p>After the skin contact maceration, the must is fermented in new and once used French oak barrels and matures in contact with its fine lees for about 5 months, for maximum body and aromatic complexity. <\/p>\n<p>This wine has a bright golden yellow colour, and a complex aroma compounded of caramelised citrus fruits with persistent underlying oak notes.<br \/>\nIn the mouth, the sense of volume is perfectly balanced by a lively crispyness. <\/p>\n<p>Serve cool, at 10-12\u00b0C.<br \/>\nEnjoy with shellfish, oily fish, poultry or pork with white sauces, spicy cheeses.<br \/>\nResponds well to further ageing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>White, P.G.I.
