After the maceration and the alcoholic and malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.<\/p>\n<p>Deep purple colour.<br \/>\nComplex bouquet of spices and ripe black fruits (wild strawberries, blackberries).<br \/>\nWith the high alcohol content nicely balanced by its crispness and noble tannins, the wine is mature, full-bodied, with a long aftertaste. <\/p>\n<p>Serve at 16-18\u00b0C.<br \/>\nEnjoy with game, highly seasoned red meat, ripe cheeses.<br \/>\nResponds well to further ageing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Red, P.G.I.
